Just a truly bad comic. Jacques' dialogue is awkward and forced, which is most apparent when the author tries to touch on 'adult topics' - the characters discuss sex often, but with an unintentional undercurrent of naivete and discomfort that says much about the author's own neuroses. In a more self-aware comic, this might even come off as interesting, but it becomes more clear with each strip that we're actually dealing with something profoundly uncomfortable.
